Day 2: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga.

You are going to enjoy a few hours of real entertainment with the discovery of the city’s cinematic memory, we are going to take you to pay a visit to Ouarzazate Cinema Museum, where you can take the beautiful commemorative images at the world-famous filming sites, with a variety of costumes, accessories, cameras and various machines used in these films. We take a long ride to Merzouga, but first, we are going to stop through some other beautiful places along the way.

Valley of Dades

 The Valley of Dades stretches between Mount Saghro and the Great Atlas mountain ranges and includes some of Morocco’s scenic landscapes. The cliffs of the valley are colored from reddish-brown to pink and even garnish red depending on the change of light, and some areas of the valley are topped by green areas at a distance of 1,000 feet.

Todgha

Hiking is the best way to enjoy the valley and surrounding villages, especially when it reaches the Todgha Strait valley in Tinghir. Traditional forts or what’s known as trachea can be found at regular distances, many of which are now operating luxury hotels.

We are going to take a look at Todgha’s massive rocky wall Mountains, and then you will stop to enjoy your lunch mean in one of the luxurious restaurants around. After that, a long Sahara ride is waiting for you.

Merzouga desert

The small town of Merzouga lies on the dunes known as Erg Chebbi, and it is considered as an entry point into the vast wilderness of the Sahara. Many tour operators offer camel ride trips to various locations, lasting from several hours to several days. Merzouga is the most authentic destination for exploring the desert nature of sandy dunes with sharp edges, blue glowing skies, and distinctive desert wildlife. Most of those trips include a visit to the traditional Bedouin camp. Thrill lovers can book quad bike tours, surfing, and sand skiing. Day 3: Merzouga – Cedar Forest – Volubilis – Fes.

Our driver, Ali, came to our hotel in Marrakech to pick us up. After that we drove through Atlas to Ait Ben Haddou then Dades gorges. Next day, we visited Toudra gorges and Merzouga, where we enjoyed an marvelous sunshine on the top of a dune and a camel trek.
