- Itinerary
Day1:Fes– Ifrane -Cedar Forest –Ziz Valley – Merzouga.
On the first day, wherever you are in fez, we will come to pick you up, and we will start out tour, the destination target afterward is Ifrane, a beautiful city in the middle of the middle atlas mountains, it is surrounded by cedar forest, we will explore it before we move to the cedar forest in Azrou, the atmosphere in the forest is incomparable, Barbarian Apes will come to say hello.
We will start the car’s engine to continue the journey, we’ll stop for a lunch break when will arrive to Midelt, known for the capital of apples. Next on we will hit the road again to Ziz Valley, then to Merzouga.
Day2: Merzouga – Khamlia – Nomad Families – Fossil Site.
wake up, and let us catch the sunrise at the foot sand hill, then have a shower and breakfast, the day in the Sahara is unlike other days, here you will be attached to the harsh nature of sand, stones, and vast Sahara. We will take you on a camel ride and cart drive before we move to Khamlia village, an example of the Saharan villages.
Along the way in the Sahara, we will sometimes deviate around nomad families to say hi and get close to their way of life. After paying a visit to the nomad families, it is time to move to a special site in which you will witness that the vast samara you stand on was once an ocean, the fossil site will emphasize this to you. At the end of the day, we will go back to Merzouga before nightfall.
Day3: Merzouga – Todgha Gorges – Dades Gorges
After a day spent in Merzouga, it is time today to move to another region in the southeast Sahara, o passing by Tinjdad we will then get to Tinghir town, home to iconic Todgha Gorges, a magic place and one of the best destination to visit in the southeast, the place is a combination of vertical limestones penetrated by the flowing river, in Todgha there are also several small shops and restaurants.
We will hit the road to Dades gorges, the colors of the rocks vary from orange and yellow, purple to red. Walking through Dades Valley where a grove of olives and fig trees, kasbahs remains and silent ruins with Amazigh architecture.
Day4: Dades Gorges– Kalaa M’agouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate.
Day four in Dades is going to be specified for a walk in the area of Dades in the morning. Then, in a couple of hours will be infamous Kalaa M’agouna, we will have lunch there and see the immense town, we will go to visit some associations whose specialty is to make roses products. Afterward,
we will go to Skoura, it lies in the middle of the desert, but it’s known for the palm trees as it is an oasis, Skoura is known also for the Kasbahs. In the early afternoon; we must leave Skoura and we will hit the road again to Ouarzazate city.
Day5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi N’ Tichka pass- Marrakech.
Today, the morning is reserved to see inclusively the city of Ouarzazate, from film studios, kasbahs, and the beautiful oasis at the outskirt, the Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou worth a visit, that is because it is known worldwide and it is a UNESCO heritage site.
Lunch break is going to be in Tizi N’tichka, the twisted road is amazing, we will have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the road and the far High Atlas Mountains, a scene of indescribable beauty, you will have opportunity to snap memorable pictures before we make our way through the high atlas,
the high atlas is considered as the highest mountains in North Africa, we will go there together to discover this natural creation. The day will ends when we get to Marrakech and see what you must be seen in it, then we say Goodbye to you.
