5 days from Tangier to Marrakech

DAY 1 : TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN AND FES

5 days from Tangier to Marrakech,today our tamlalt tours starts by hotel pick up in Tangier. We visit blue-white city of Chefchaouen and we explore medina which offers many native handicrafts. You may walk in narrow streets to explore main square, Plaza Uta el Hamam. Then after lunch we departure for Fes where we spend the night in local riad.

DAY 2 : FES CITY EXCURSION

You will visit the principal monuments in the medina of Fes –madrasas, fondouks, palaces, residences, mosques and fountains. We visit the world’s first university dating from the 9th century and one of the most complete medieval cities in existence. Enjoy guided visit of medieval Medina, Quaraouine University, Medersa Attarine, Kingdom Palace, Ben Denane synagogue, souks. Overnight stay in a hotel/riad.

DAY 3 : FES TO RISSANI AND MERZOUGA DESERT

Today we leave the imperial city of Fes and we will drive via the Middle Atlas mountains towards Sahara, the Erg Chebbi dunes. We visit Midelt, Erfoud and Rissani. In Merzouga we enjoy a camel ride, once we get to desert camp you ll enjoy tasty dinner. Overnight in the camp.

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA TO DADES GORGES

Today we drive towards Tinghir. Enjoy the spectacular steep canyon and red walls of Todgha Gorges, and we walk through an oasis in the valley of the gorges. We will stay overnight in Boumalne Dades, in local riad with dinner.

DAY 5 : DADES GORGES TO AIT BENHADDOU AND MARRAKECH

After breakfast we travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna – called, “the way of the 1000s kasbahs”. We visit city Ouarzazate and then you explore local Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – the largest Kasbah in Morocco , a UNESCO heritage site. Then we will cross the high Atlas mountains till we reach city of Marrakech.

Our driver, Ali, came to our hotel in Marrakech to pick us up. After that we drove through Atlas to Ait Ben Haddou then Dades gorges. Next day, we visited Toudra gorges and Merzouga, where we enjoyed an marvelous sunshine on the top of a dune and a camel trek.
