Here’s your guide to an adventure filled with culture, history, and natural beauty.

Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen – The Blue Enchantment

Start your Moroccan adventure in Tangier, a city where European and African influences blend seamlessly. Visit the Kasbah, stroll through the medina, and take in the views where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Depart Tangier and journey towards Chefchaouen, the ‘Blue Pearl’ of Morocco. Overnight in Chefchaouen to enjoy its peaceful charm.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes – Into the Ancient Medina

Leave the tranquility of Chefchaouen and head towards Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. On arrival, delve into the ancient medina of Fes el Bali. Wander through its labyrinthine streets, visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, and observe the bustling activity of the Chaouwara Tanneries. Experience the architectural beauty of the Al-Qarawiyyin University and Mosque. Spend the evening in Fes, enjoying traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Day 3: Fes to Merzouga – Gateway to the Dunes

Depart early from Fes and embark on a scenic drive towards the Sahara Desert. The journey takes you through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing by Ifrane, known as ‘Morocco’s Switzerland’, and the cedar forests of Azrou, where you might catch sight of Barbary macaques. Continue through the Ziz Valley with its palm groves and kasbahs until you reach Merzouga. As the sun begins to set, take a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, a sea of sand that embodies the Sahara’s iconic landscape. Spend the night in a desert camp, enjoying Berber hospitality and a star-filled sky.

Day 4: Merzouga to Tangier – Return Journey

Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, a moment of serene beauty. After breakfast, begin the long journey back to Tangier. This drive allows you to reflect on the experiences of the past few days, from the ancient streets of Fes to the tranquil vastness of the Sahara.
